JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The United States government continued the maintenance of the F-16 jet fighters of the Indonesian Air Force. This statement was made by former US Air Force Commander in the  Asia Pacific (US PACAF) General (ret.) William J Begert when making a courtesy call on Indonesian Air Force Chief of Staff Marshal Imam Sufaat in Jakarta Tuesday.

The Indonesian Air Force now has 10 F-16 Fighting Falcons based at Air Squadron 3 at Iswahjudi.
